Physical Therapy
About Me
My Profile:
I am a spirit driven student that finds joy in helping others.
Cross Country and Track are the sports I compete in, and
I take these sports as seriously as I would anything else.
I consider myself a student-athlete, and being a student
always comes first. I also volunteer at a local church, and
this is where my passion for helping others comes into
play. I love what I do, and I hope to leave an impact on
whatever it is that I participate in.
My Mentorship:
I am currently mentoring at the Atlanta Rehabilitation Center in Flowery Branch. My mentors include Physical Therapist Assistant, Lori, and PT's Brian and Patricio. I am learning what it takes to be a physical therapist, and all the many exercises and treatments for patients. I fetch hot packs for patients and tell certain patients what exercises to do. It's almost as if I am a part of the team. So far it has been a wonderful experience, and I cannot wait to see what I am going to be doing in the future.
My Future:
This year I will be finishing up my last year in high school. I plan on attending college at a reputable school with a major in Physical Therapy. I also intend on getting in athletic scholarship for running, and running in college. After that I will complete the rest of PT schooling if all goes well, and find a job in the field. This is my goal so far, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve it!
